Google Source Stresses Importance of Remarketing

A Google insider has highlighted the importance of companies remarketing on their websites.

Once internet browsers have been directed to a site via pay per click services, it is useful for businesses to then look to connect with them, with Google's Gordon Zhu claiming that remarketing is a simple way to achieve this.

Writing on the Inside AdWords blog, Mr Zhu explained: "You can … remarket to those people who reach your site by showing them tailored ads as they browse through sites on the Google Display Network."
Google rolled out its remarketing feature towards the start of the year, with the search engine giant's product manager Aitan Weinberg stating the service received a "tremendous response" from the advertisers that used it during the beta trial stage.

Mr Weinberg insisted the facility could prove to be effective across a wide range of industries, including automotive, finance, local and retail.

It can help advertisers to boost sales and increase clicks to their websites, he added.
